PUENTE
The Puente program is designed to prepare students to enroll and graduate from a 4-year university. Puente students are expected to serve as community leaders and to mentor future generations of students. Run through the 9th and 10th grade English classes, the program will give students a strong foundation of identity, culture and self-empowerment through multicultural literature.

Want to be a creator and not just a consumer? The Creators for Change / YouTube Academy is a four-year career pathway that brings YouTube and social media into the classroom like never before! Students will develop the skills and vision to become leaders and innovators in the modern creative space. The C4C Academy brings photography, music, film, and social media together with English and Social Studies courses. The C4C Academy is EXCLUSIVE to Western High School.
