END NOTES!
Good evening and welcome to The Blamey Stone Theatre's production of Six: Teen Edition! As co-director of Six, one of my goals was to encapsulate each individual personality of the queens, and ensure that their unique voices, strengths, and struggles were brought to life with authenticity and passion. This production embraces the energy of a pop concert while honoring the real history behind each woman's story.
Beyond the spectacle and humor, this show is a powerful statement about female empowerment. These queens refuse to be defined by the men who shaped their stories; instead, they reclaim their narratives, support one another, and discover strength in solidarity rather than competition. Their stories remind us that women's voices deserve to be heard, valued, and celebrated on their own terms. Six is about reclaiming identity and rewriting the narrative into a celebration of unapologetic self-expression.
