I have been in this position since 2002. I love my job and I will tell anyone that will listen that I have the best job in the entire district!!! I get to work with the best students that want to inspire Loara High School students to think outside of the box, to try new things and to include everyone so that we all get to experience the fun of school spirit! I am always so proud of Loara because we don't choose to just do what has always been done before but to be trendsetters, thinking and evolving with every new year.
On a personal note...I am a mother of two grown children. I have two amazing grandchildren. My husband and I have been married for over 40 years and we love and raise Siberian Huskies. Currently I spend my personal time volunteering with my therapy dog Lava participating in visits to schools, libraries, Orangewood Children and Family Center, special events and we have just joined the AirPAWS group at John Wayne Airport. I was considering retirement with the Class of 2023, but the events of the first half of 2020 has made me reconsider this decision. I am not ready to give up my time with the amazing students of Loara so I have decided to become the Old Lady of Loara. You are not going to get rid of me for a very long time! Once A Saxon Always A Saxon!
