BLACK STUDENT UNION

The Black Student Union (BSU) of John F. Kennedy High School is a club that fosters success through the social and educational support of the Black community. We will provide the tools for our members to use their voice and be heard, and thus serve as a catalyst for personal development for all students who attend.

As a club, we strive to unite students of all races, ethnicities, religions, and sexualities by cultivating cultural awareness. Through events, discussions, socials, and even field trips, the Black Student Union hopes to advocate black students' needs while also engaging the community in efforts to promote cultural diversity, unity, and empowerment. There is no student left behind!
