Prior to working at Dale, Ms. Gutierrez (aka Ms. G) worked at the Huntington Beach Library and worked at Target for 16 years where she was in charge of Books, Music and Movies.

Ms. G loves hearing students talk about books they've read and to find books that capture their interest. She always has time to chat with students about books.

She loves traveling, whether it's within the pages of a book or with the other magical book called a passport.

When not working, Ms. G enjoys spending time with family and friends. Her family hosts a weekly board game night and they love learning new strategical games such as Settlers of Catan and Sequence.
