Welcome to Anderson Alternative Education!
Anderson Alternative Education is a small high school environment that affords the students of Anderson Union High School District meaningful credit recovery options. Our meaningful credit recovery options combined with a supportive staff assists our students in their goal of either returning to the comprehensive high school or completion of the graduation requirements. Anderson Alternative Education endeavors to create a program for students that haven’t been successful in the general education program within our district.
Our curriculum, course offerings, and campus culture activities are designed to enhance students’ skill levels and prepare them for post high school education, and/or vocational experiences beyond high school. Our team of dedicated teachers work to ensure all students are prepared for experiences in life. It is our mission to create an environment where each and every student is valued and given the attention necessary to achieve his/her individual success.

End of Year celebration
End of Year celebration
We are so excited for our end of year celebration!! This year we will start off with "Anything But a Backpack" day on Monday. Tuesday will be one last "School Spirit" for the year. Let's see that Red and Black. Wednesday will be our end of year celebration and it is also where you will find "Wacky Wednesday Meets Hawaii". We will have a day filled with fun in the sun, Twister Splash, Corn Hole, Water Balloons, BBQ, Kona Ice, and more. We will round the day with Graduation @ 8:00 pm. Congratulations to everyone for another great year in Alternative Education!!!

It is going to be a great graduation year for Alternative Education. Right now, as of 05/15/2025, we are looking at the following Graduate numbers, most of whom will walk the stage at Graduation 2025!!! HOW EXCITING!!!

Summer School!
Summer School!
Summer school is fastly approaching! We are excited to be back at the Anderson Campus this year, as our campus will be undergoing "Modernization"! What an exciting experience for North Valley High School! As of right now, Summer School has 62 studnets enrolled. Thais number will raise dramatically in the next couple of weeks. We had 167 students last year.

Bulldogs Backyard has been doing great. We have one final Brain Boosters left in us. This week we will be enjoying sub sandwiches and Ice cream sundaes, while we work hard to finish up these credits. I want to take a moment to thank everyone who has been involved in making the Bulldogs Backyard come to life here at North Valley! We are so excited to see what it becomes next year!!
