Mr. Derrick Jones

The new Building and Construction Trades classes are off to a great start on the West Valley and Anderson campuses! Mr. Jones put in countless hours this summer to prepare for school. Although he has worked for years in the industry, his commitment as a first year teacher is obvious. We are looking forward to seeing what Mr. Jones and his 43 students accomplish this school year and to seeing this program expand in years to come. 

Last week we set an office goal to dress more colorfully at work. Pictured above is Paige Senn, retired Accountant for the district.

This week are participating in Be Kind to Humankind, which is a worldwide celebration that focuses on a different way to show kindness each day during the last week of August.

New assignment

• Ashlee Herrera, has accepted the Administrative Secretary/ASB position at AUHS. She has been doing a fantastic job managing her new role as well as assisting in the Library/Media Center until her previous position is filled.
