We focus on making a positive and thoughtful difference in the Augie community by working to resolve issues faced by the student body. To do this, Senators work in committees to develop changes in college policies, promote student-led initiatives, create awareness campaigns, and coordinate campus events.

SGA is also responsible for funding all student groups and organizations that are recognized by Augustana College’s Student Policies Committee. Any recognized student group can request a budget or contingency from SGA. Please see our other pages for more information.
