The VIRTUAL QC College Career Fair will include local and regional employers offering internships, apprenticeships, part-time, and full-time positions in business, government, healthcare, manufacturing, non-profits, science, and social services.

The virtual event will include students and recent graduates of Augustana College, Black Hawk College, St. Ambrose University, Eastern Iowa Community Colleges, and Western Illinois University- Quad Cities. Combined, the five local institutions enroll over 16,000 students in certificate, associate’s, bachelor’s, and master’s degree programs. Most of these students and recent graduates are seeking internships, apprenticeships, part-time, and full-time positions in business, government, healthcare, manufacturing, non-profits, science, and social services.

Signing up for Sessions

    • Scroll through list of employers

    • NOTE: Many employers are still adding sessions and jobs; continue to review and look for sessions up until the date of the fair. Check back often.

    • Select sessions that interest you. Employers are offering:

      • Group Sessions to learn about the company

      • Group Sessions to learn about particular jobs

      • 1:1 Sessions to chat for 10 minutes about the company or jobs

Viewing Open Jobs and Internships

    • Jobs may not yet be connected to each employer directly

    • When viewing each employer, make note of the jobs available

    • Go back to Jobs on main login page and search for the job title


Sign up for 1:1 and Group Sessions

  • Review all employers and opportunities

  • Sign up for employer sessions in advance. You can only attend sessions you registered for. Learn more here.

  • If you sign up for employer sessions that conflict with a class, please check with your professor ahead of time.

  • Update your profile. Some employers set qualifications to define which students can register for their sessions. To ensure you qualify for employer sessions, make sure you have filled out the following fields on your profile:

  • Double check your technology. You’ll need an internet connection, speakers and a microphone, webcam, and a supported device. Learn more about technical requirements for virtual fairs here.
