The Career Coach Program
The Career Coach Program
Career coaches are placed in all area high schools through a partnership between the local school divisions and Blue Ridge Community College. The goal of the career coach is to assist students in identifying career aspirations and post-secondary goals. Career coaches support high school completion and promote higher education and/or technical training and credentials.
Your career coach works at WMHS on a full-time basis as a result of the Rural Virginia Horseshoe Initiative, an ambitious campaign to "transform Virginia's rural communities through higher education and 21st century job skills."
