School Social Workers

School social workers are masters level professionals who are a vital part of the education system and act as a liaison between the home, school and community. We focus on removing barriers to student success and addressing the social, emotional, behavioral, and adaptive functioning needs of students and families.

What can we do for you

School Social Workers:

    • Address attendance related concerns K-8

    • Identify students facing unstable housing

    • Complete social histories for special education eligibility

    • Provide resource referrals to community-based services

We work collaboratively with school personnel, parents and various community agencies to provide comprehensive support to our students and their families.
