The Sam & Hannah Obura Education awards recognizes students at Mudhiero Secondary with tuition scholarships that provide the funding necessary for some Kenyan students to attend high school.

Beginning by providing more than 20,000 Kenyan shillings for three students who used the funds to pursue a high school education, the Sam & Hannah Obura Education Awards program has since awarded more than 400 Kenyan students with 1,000,000 shillings, allowing young adults the opportunity to afford a higher education in their local village.
