Regular Abstract Submission Deadline: January 15, 2023 - extended to February 12, 2023

Abstract submissions are open for the 17th Excellence in Undergraduate Research, Entrepreneurship and Creative Achievement (EURECA) Conference, organized by the AUC Undergraduate Research Program. The conference will take place under the umbrella of the AUC Research and Creativity Convention (RCC).

EURECA is an opportunity for undergraduate students of different disciplines to present their original research and creative works to their peers, faculty and the public. Participating in the conference is an excellent way to gain experience for graduate studies and to practice scholarly presentation skills.

Undergraduates from all disciplines, from the first year to capstone, are invited to participate.

Please NOTE: This year's conference will be in a hybrid format. This means that presenters and attendees can participate either in person on the AUC New Cairo Campus or virtually. Presenters and attendees located outside of Egypt, however, will only have the virtual option.

Contingency Measures for COVID-19:

If it is decided that it is no longer safe to hold the conference on campus in person, the EURECA Conference will consist of an asynchronous virtual exhibition and special live synchronous sessions on Zoom. The virtual exhibition will consist of research products and creative works organized by thematic sessions. The research products and creative works will be uploaded to our virtual platform. These can include but are not limited to academic posters and Power Point Presentations with voiceover narration based on the accepted proposal. Both audience questions and comments and presenter replies will be completed asynchronously. Those whose submissions are accepted will receive guidelines on how to prepare and upload their work on the virtual platform.
