Famous Influencer Addison Horizon visits MBMS for a charity event, stunned to find no students present.
Horizon flew to Auburn, Washington from Los Angeles, California on Wednesday, February 30 for the “TikTuk Teen Tutor Time” charity event. The “TikTuk Teen Tutor Time” event was to support children ages 10-13 through the new Brainfartosis virus. This would help tweens and teens focus more in class and get better grades. They would use celebrities to encourage the students to study and work harder on tests and homework.
“I think it’s wonderful how celebrities are helping the students,” Principal Blue said, “Unfortunately, none of the students were present to see [Addison Horizon], I think the students would have benefited from the meeting.”
Despite the lack of students, Horizon did many things on her trip. She had a tour of the school and met some of the teachers there. The majority of teachers didn’t care for Horizon, as they don’t understand why she’s so popular.
Student-teacher Chewbacca said, “RWARRWWAR GRAWWAARR RAWWARAG WRAGR RGAWAGR” translation “I honestly don’t understand the hype over her, she just does weird arm movements and becomes famous, I don’t get how she makes money, I just don’t think [influencing] is a real job.”
Although teachers don’t like Horizon that much, many students are feeling depressed over missing out on meeting the influencer. Some students have even started a petition to have Horizon come back.
“I wish I was there to see her,” sixth-grader Jenny Chalmers said, “She would just make me feel better after my brother lost his college fund. We’ve had a hard time after that.”
Horizon feels upset that she couldn’t make the students' lives better with her visit on February 30, she is the face of the “TikTuk Teen Tutor Time” and was supposed to raise money at MBMS, but unfortunately, no one was able to help.
“This place is so cute! But can I [take a break]? It reminds me of Boah Necks room,” Horizon said.
TikTuk said that because Horizons visit was a failure, they would send Darli Chamelio and her sister, Daisy Chamelio on May 22 instead.
“Judging by Addison's visit, I’m [very] excited to go help those kids #StopBrainfartosis #TikTukTeenTutorTime.” Darli Chamelio said.
