MBMS has announced the arrival of three new after-school activities. The No-Show Club, the competitive TikTok Dance Team, and the Knitting Club.
The No-Show Club, which was added on February 30, is available to all grades at MBMS, and meets in room 777 every Tuesday.
“I was really confused when I first walked in,“ said seventh-grader Mikchaeel Macaron, “No one was in there when I showed up, or even when the meeting was over!”
Indeed, the No-Show Club was added as a club in which nobody shows up, however Macaron and other students were uninformed about the club’s purpose before going to a meeting. However, much to the uproar of students and teachers, the club will be staying at MBMS.

Sixth-grader Baylor Sywift describes her experience on the competitive TikTok dance team, “We’re the best! At everything! We always beat the other school with our moves, and they just watch in fear when we come on,” Sywift said, “Our best move is called Ariyana’s Yuh Circle, in which we stand in a circle and break our arms while singing Ariyana Venti’s songs.”
The competitive team, formed on January 32 by Sywift, eighth-grader Dixie Armadillo, and advisor Mr. Jieber. As of publication, the team consists of only those three.
“We’re literally the best. Why? Do you want to join? Well, you can’t unless you have over five-quadrillion TikTok followers. ” Armadillo stated.
Mr. Jieber was unavailable for comment. At the TikTok team’s latest competition, they came in last place with a score of -100 points and got escorted out because of "unruly behavior".
“Um, first of all, we did NOT get kicked out, we just decided that we were tired and left, except we needed someone to show us the way out,” Sywift stated when asked about it, “And second, our behavior was not 'unruly'. True, we screeched after losing, but we never claimed to be good singers!"

Now, the last club added is the Knitting Club, advised by Ms. Ilovetoknitt, an assistant librarian for MBMS, was created for students to come and knit after school on March 33. However, Ilovetoknitt remains the sole member of the knitting club.
"I’m confused why no one is coming,” Ilovetoknitt said, “I love to knit, so I thought that teenagers would too!”
Ilovetoknitt continued to remain the sole member of the Knitting Club.
“I'm not a big fan of knitting,“ seventh-grader Macaron stated when asked about why no one was joining, “I would rather play video games, but I hope that Ms. Ilovetokitt finds someone else to knit with her."
