Back to School: Behind the Face Covering Project

(Grades 2-6) After watching a video on the importance of wearing a mask students will watch this video by Cassie Stephens on how to make a self-portrait of yourself wearing a mask and the awesome person that is underneath. Older students can write good character traits, hobbies, and interests. No one is excited about wearing a mask, but it's for our safety. The best thing we can do for our kids is to put a positive spin on it, right?! Teachers can display them around the room to reinforce the new "normal".
