WAHS SCHOOL OPEN HOUSE
Wednesday SEPTEMBER 30, 2020
Parents of West Auburn High School students are invited to participate in a Virtual Open House on Wednesday, September 30th from 6:00-7:00p.m. This will be virtual and not on campus. It will run through the West Auburn Open House site. The purpose of Open House is to provide you with the opportunity to:
1 - Meet your student’s teachers
2 - Learn information about resources and programs at WAHS
3 - If you need support for Skyward there are two options:
Fill out this google form with your information so that someone can reach out to provide additional support.
4 - View a welcome video about our school and other pre-recorded teacher/staff videos.
We hope you will take advantage of this opportunity to meet teachers, counselors and administrators. If you have personal concerns, please call the school and make an appointment to visit with any appropriate staff member. PLEASE HAVE YOUR CHILD COMPLETE THE BLANK SCHEDULE BELOW, OR PRINT A COPY FROM FAMILY ACCESS to use during our online open house sessions.
Open House Schedule
6:00 - 6:10 PM: Welcome, Introductions, and Resources!
Located under the Programs and Resources Tab. You will find informational videos about different programs and supports that are happening at West Auburn. This includes activities, counselor information and family resources. Principal Robinson's opening message will be in this section as well.
6:10 - 7:00 pm: Follow your student’s schedule to a short 10-minute presentation from each of his/her teachers in their virtual classrooms. This is your chance to meet the teacher and ask questions about the course.
We will provide 10 minutes for each class period. Reminder, this is a meet and greet time to put a face to the name of the teachers, if you would like more time discussing your child please e-mail or call the teacher to make an appointment.

Se invita a los padres de los estudiantes de West Auburn High School a participar en una jornada de bienvenida virtual el miércoles 30 de septiembre de las 6:00 a 7:00 p.m.
Esto evento será virtual y no en el campus. Se ejecutará a través del sitio West Auburn Open House.
El propósito de la bienvenida es brindarle la oportunidad de:
1 - Conocer los profesores de su alumno
2 - Obtener información sobre los recursos disponibles y los programas de WAHS
3 - Si necesita ayuda para usar Skyward habrá dos opciones:
Un video con instrucciones paso-a-paso.
Un formulario de Google para completar con su información para que alguien pueda comunicarse con usted y brindarle ayuda.
4 - Ver un video de bienvenida sobre nuestra escuela y otros videos que han sido preparados por los maestros y personal de la escuela.
Esperamos que aproveche esta oportunidad para conocer a maestros, consejeros y administradores. Si tiene alguna inquietud individual, por favor llame a la escuela y programe una cita para visitar a cualquier miembro del personal apropiado.

Proporcionaremos 10 minutos para cada período de clase.
Recordatorio, este es un momento para conocer y saludar a los maestros, si desea más tiempo para hablar sobre su hijo, envíe un correo electrónico o llame al maestro para hacer una cita.
