Session Description: We are pleased to have Mr. Dave Nagel on Tuesday, November 1 from 4:00 – 5:30 pm for another Activator Training. Dave will facilitate the move from discussion to action based on the skills learned in the PLC+ series. Activators will find this an essential guide to keeping PLC+ team discussions goal-focused and the work centered on building the collective efficacy of the team.

Dr. Nicole Law: Culturally Responsive Practices

Session Description: Culturally Responsive Practices must be a part of every classroom in the Auburn School District. Dr. Nicole Law is a dynamic and passionate educator who provides relevant professional development to schools and districts across the country. Nicole focuses her experience to present instruction on professional learning community teams (PLC+), leadership improvement practices and structures, strategies for rigorous instruction, and levels of depth of knowledge (DOK), as well as culturally responsive and equitable teaching practices. Dr. Nicole Law will support all staff in implementation of Culturally Responsive Practices.

Seven Steps for Setting Up a Stellar Special Education Classroom
