Greetings MBMS students and staff!

   We’re excited to present to you our January edition of the Canine Chronicle! Our outstanding staff has gone above and beyond telling stories impacting students and our communities.

   An amazing article you’d see in this edition is the ‘Exploring the Different Generations’ including many teachers, staff members, and students perspectives. Hear what they have to say about their generations! Also, listen to the “Generations Video/Podcast” that goes along with it.

   Love is in the air, and the hallways. Check out our Valentine's features. Such as, “Valentine’s Day ‘Did You Know?’ Facts”, “Middle School Relationships”, and “Valentine's Day Candy Quiz: What candy is your candy heart fits you?”.

   Many students on MLK Day most likely sleep in and don’t do much. But there’s more to the holiday, take a look at the article “MLK Did You Know? Facts about Assembly” and “MLK Assembly Highlights Diversity”.

   The cold and clouds don’t make students very happy about the winter. Our staff asked students what they think of seasonal slumps in the winter. Look at our mental health articles. Such as, “Body Dysmorphia in Teens”, “Avoiding Seasonal Slump During Winter”, and “Teen Sleep Habits: Improve Sleep Routine”.

   The topic that’s been going on for months now is, will TikTok get banned? We’ve written a whole article about why it’s getting banned, when it’s getting banned, and how students feel about it.

   This year, 2025, is the year of the Snake! Learn more about the Chinese New Year in the article “Lunar New Year: What does the year mean for you?”. And check out the Lunar New Year Horoscope.

   As season two of the sports season ended, we’ve reported on varsity girls soccer, varsity boys basketball, and gymnastics. Also, see the Sports Season Slideshow!
