Welcome back! Our year is off to a rapid start, and our 1901 students with disabilities are ready to learn! Please scroll down for some pictures of adorable students learning, PD information, COVID updates, and other introductions to the year.
Starting things off light, click here to explore Paula Kluth's Inclusion Bingo game! Anyone who completes a "Bingo" (you can print or do digitally) and submits their card to Hilary Conville will be entered into a prize drawing --special bonus for anyone who forwards the bingo card to a gen-ed colleague and gets them to also submit one (have them say who gave it to them too)! The drawing will be held on the waiver day, 10/8!

This is such a big deal! It would be even better if we could do all our meetings in-person this year, but still it's progress! We are currently able to hold meetings either in-person, or remotely this year. How does it work? Where do I click? What if someone joins remotely? What about IEP amendments? Answers to all these questions and more are in our electronic signatures guidance document, click here!
Also, here is the link to our department manual itself.
Student Special Services staff are deeply involved in the district's COVID-19 systems (thank you nurses!), particularly our newest administrator, Stephanie Earnhardt! She is our new assistant director of health services, replacing the great Vicki Wagner. Our department also created the district's data dashboard to share positive case data. Check it out below, or here on the district website! Would you like to be included in the next 15-minute health/safety/PPE training? Click here to sign up and make sure you're invited!
