Most students think they know their teachers, just because they spend 180 days a year with them, but what about when school gets out and students don't see them? Here are four of MBMS teachers who have surprising summer hobbies.

When Mrs. Kemp gets off of school for summer break, she switches out her pencil and math book for a hard hat and a detonator.
Kemp enjoys relaxing in the summer by spending her time as a demolition contractor, or the person who makes the demolition of buildings possible.
“I was shocked when I heard,” seventh-grader Ethan Anderson said. “I haven’t been so surprised since I realized A pluses aren’t real”.
Every year, Mr. Decker anxiously waits for school to get out so he can get back to his Mineraft world, and his tens of followers.
He recently hit 15 followers on his Mineraft streaming account, "DECKER STREAMS MINERAFT".
“He told me to mine straight down” sixth-grader Kevin Jones said “And I trusted him.”
Neigh! That’s the sound that Mrs. McGraw makes while riding her stick horse because it doesn’t make any sound.
She likes to spend her summers entering hobby horse competitions, and she’s gotten pretty good at it.
"I should have known," sixth-grader Jeff Owens said. "She once let a neigh slip during fourth period."
The fresh dirt, the chirping birds, cute porcelain faces, what's not to love about collecting garden gnomes?
Mr. Sepulveda has spent many summers building up his garden gnome collection to over 500 gnomes.
"This is a very little gnome fact about him," eighth-grader Maria Johnson said, "If only I had gnome before."
