I am a passionate special educator who believes that I have the absolute best job in the world! I have been with Auburn School District since 2010. I began as a paraeducator in elementary reading and math. I have worked in Early Childhood Education and as a 1:1 in general education. In 2015, I pioneered the Inclusive Support Professional role, focused on building programs for students with disabilities that promoted independence and inclusion across the district. In 2017, I began teaching in the Structured Learning Center at Auburn Mountainview High School. I worked for 2 years a the Secondary Program Specialist at Student Special Services and returned to Auburn Mountainview in 2021 after missing that classroom connection and working directly with kids. 

I have my BA in Special Education (K-12) and Elementary Education (K-8). I have a M.Ed in Curriculum and Instruction. I have served on multiple district committees, provided professional development to district staff and mentored other teachers.
