Mrs. Hall's Classes

BIO

Hello! I am Erin Hall and I will be teaching your child in one of three courses this year- Multicultural Studies, U.S. History, or Global Issues. This is my 20th year as a teacher and being a teacher is a part of who I am. I am the first person in my family to graduate from college, and I did just that in 2000 from Western Washington University with a BA in Political Science and Minors in Language Arts and Social Studies. I obtained a Secondary Teaching Certificate the two years after I graduated. In addition, I have a Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction with a focus on Literacy.

I have been happily married for 17 years to my amazing husband, Chuck. We have two sons, Grady and Hudson, ages 12 and 8, and Hailey our Golden Retriever. We live in the Lake Tapps area and love everything related to sports and building community. I feel incredibly blessed in my life and that makes me absolutely ready to support, mentor, teach, and empower the students in my classroom.

The word I am focusing my intention around this school year is love, because I think this is the answer to the majority of the problems we face. With that in mind, I know you love your student and I am here to partner with you in their educational and personal success. I am open to communicating with you anytime and welcome you to email me at ehall@auburn.wednet.edu.
