@HOME Physical Education Safety Warning

The Auburn School District recognizes that Physical Education during remote learning can bring some challenges and other opportunities. Students will be asked to do physical activity at home or outside through the course of the class. We ask that all students follow the safety precautions their physical education teacher provides. Including but not limited to: know your body and when to stop or take a break, drink plenty of water to stay hydrated when exercising, finding adequate space for physical activity that does not put a person’s physical well-being in danger or at risk of damaging ones surroundings, follow safety precautions for exercises as the teacher or instructions illustrate, when walking outside obey all laws including walking in designated areas, on sidewalks, using marked street crossings and looking both ways for cars/danger.”
