Classroom Expectations

Students are expected to be Proud Tigers!

That means they will: Be Safe, Be Respectful, Be Responsible, and give their best learning effort.

In my classroom students will:

• Follow directions quickly.
• Control your voice and your body.
• Make good decisions and solve your problems.
• Be safe, Be respectful, Be responsible.
• Give best learning effort.

If your child is having a hard time following the rules, we will ask him or her to reflect on their behavior. Your child will write down which rule they did not follow and their plan for making better choices. If this reflection does not help your child change their behavior, he or she will be sent to Think Time in another classroom. Think Time forms will be sent home, and then need to be signed by a parent and returned the following day.

I am always looking to reward positive behavior choices! This will include verbal affirmations, positive phone calls and notes sent home, and Tiger Pride awards, Golden tickets which lead to raffle drawings and extra recess.
