Everything you need to know for our transition to Hybrid Learning!
Our team is very excited to transition our students to our hybrid learning program! Whether your family has chosen In Person Hybrid Learning or All Online Learning, we remain committed to maximizing our service to your student!
As we have planned for hybrid learning, ensuring safety for our students, staff, and families has been a top priority! You will see below that we have systems in place to ensure student wellness on campus, maximize physical distancing, and require face coverings.
Additional priorities have been keeping students with their current teacher and minimizing sibling schedule conflicts. I am proud to say that as of February 23rd, all students will remain with their current teacher regardless of the mode of learning they have chosen! All of our general education classroom teachers will be teaching one section of in person hybrid learning in the mornings and one section of live online instruction in the afternoons. This schedule also maximizes consistency for families with multiple students.
While we are confident in the system and plan that we have for the transition to hybrid learning, we also recognize that this transition may come with challenges or anxieties for many. Please know that we are available to talk through this transition with you. We will continue to persevere together in an effort to best serve our kids during these times.

All staff and students will be required to complete a daily wellness screener before arriving on campus.

Everyone on campus will keep 6 feet of physical distancing at all times. Classrooms will be setup to accommodate physical distancing. Floor markers, signs, and staff will support physical distancing throughout the day.
Students and teachers will clean desks and chairs at the end of each day with a safe cleaning solution and microfiber towels. Custodians will disinfect all high touch point surfaces each evening.
Access to the building will be limited during the school day. Doors will remain locked to minimize people on campus. Please call or email if you need to communicate with the school.
Water bottles have been purchased for all students to use at school, minimizing the need to use drinking fountains.

Teachers will be intentionally reinforcing positive behaviors that align with our expectations, classroom agreements, and cardinal character traits.
Wearing face masks and maintaining physical distancing will be common expectations for all students.
When students are unable to demonstrate expected behaviors the progression of responses will be: 1) Verbal reminder 2) Sign the class log 3) Fill out reflection form and debrief with teacher 4) Office referral.
We want to minimize the number of supplies students are transporting between school and home each day. Preferably each student has a set of basic school supplies at home and at school. Refer to this Supply List as a guide. Make sure you look at the "In Person Learning" section. Check with your classroom teacher before purchasing, as all items may not be necessary. If you need support with getting supplies for your student, please reach out to your teacher or the school office.
Some teachers may ask students to transport chrome books between home and school. If so, a chrome book case will be provided.
