About the Class

Have you always dreamed of a career involving children  and teens? Do you want to make a difference in a child's educational experience? Gain valuable skills working with school-age children at an elementary school while you develop a professional portfolio documenting your knowledge and experience. Instruction includes child development, learning styles, and the special needs of children. Successful completion qualifies you take Teaching Academy where you can apply your skills at an elementary/secondary field site.
