I absolutely love what I do. My work is guided by the Japanese principle of Kaizen—the commitment to continuous improvement. I am dedicated to the daily refinement of my craft, ensuring that my teaching evolves alongside my students.

I believe that engagement and connection change everything. I strive to build a community where social skills flourish and the classroom is a place students truly want to be. While balancing a dense science curriculum with social-emotional connection is a challenge, it is one I embrace wholeheartedly.

The Art of Science Education

Let’s be real: science is hard. I find immense joy in breaking down complex, intimidating topics into digestible, "aha!" moments. I am passionate about the design process—creating tools and strategies that turn academic hurdles into manageable victories.

The Goal

My ultimate hope is that students leave my classroom equipped to ask big questions, analyze data, and engage in evidence-based arguments. More importantly, I want them to walk away with the confidence that they can do hard things and the realization that learning can—and should—be fun.
