My name is Nathanyel (though I preferred to be called Nathan) and I am currently studying in Hong Kong. I am interested in mathematics and science, along with understanding how the world works and is functioning at all times. I had received many rewards in my school, mainly Honor Award (3.0/4.0 or above) in Grades 9-10 and Principal's Award (3.6/4.0 or above) in Grade 8; I also participated in the Atwin X-STEAM 2025 program, and not only received the completion certificate but also the Best Investigator Award. I am particularly interested in STEAM's Science, Engineering, and Math focuses.
Project Introduction
My project is based on solar panels and how they are utilized and their current limits. Investigations mainly included the benefits of solar panels over other energy sources, their downsides, and also their limitations, such as the Shockley-Queisser Limit, which is the theoretical limit of the solar panel conversion.
