APS Middle School Summer Reading

We encourage all students to read for 30 minutes each day over the summer.  On the above tabs you will find book recommendations for students entering grades 5-9.

This note taking sheet can be used to help remember the big ideas or most interesting parts of the book. In September, middle school students will participate in text-based activities involving the books they have read. 

We recommend you use the Common Sense Media site to evaluate the content of the books on the reading lists to help you make a choice that is most appropriate for your family.
