Reaching & Grasping Task Reaction Time in Females with Breast Cancer-Related Lymphedema

Be part of an important research study about breast cancer treatment and lymphedema.

 Are you eligible to participate?


Are you between 35 and 78 years of age? AND

Are you a breast cancer survivor of at least 1 year? OR

Are you a female who never had cancer?

The purpose of this research study is to compare quick movements of the arm and hand between three groups of females. The groups of females include 1) breast cancer survivors without lymphedema, 2) breast cancer survivors with upper extremity lymphedema, and 3) healthy women without a history of cancer. Risks are minimal with your participation. You may not receive any personal benefits from being in this study. However, others may benefit from the knowledge gained from this study. An evaluation of arm volume, strength, sensation, upper extremity functional screening, and BMI are part of the study and will be made available to you upon request. Participants can receive a $50.00 Amazon gift card.
