Hello! My name is Cindy Cherry. I am so happy to be back at our newly renovated Morningside Elementary School! I am one of the four GATE (Gifted and Talented Education) teachers on staff. This will be my 20th year of teaching- 16 years at MES and 4 years in Gwinnett County.

Morningside is super special to me because both my husband and two sons are alumni! I received my teaching degree and gifted certification from the University of Georgia. GO DAWGS! My two favorite things are teaching and spending time with my family. When I am not teaching you can find me playing tennis, traveling, enjoying hot yoga, and reading a great book.
