Stipends

Participating Secure Neighborhood officers spend many hours of off-duty time working within their communities. Among other things, they attend community meetings, provide supplemental security patrols and mentor young people at our @Promise Centers. In recognition of these tasks, qualified officers become eligible for monthly stipends of up to $500. Please contact the Police Foundation if you're interested in donating to this initiative.
