Welcome to ACHS Esports—a competitive gaming team where digital skills meet real-world success. At Atkinson County High School, our esports program offers students a unique opportunity to engage in structured gameplay that promotes teamwork, critical thinking, and leadership. We connect gaming with career readiness and scholastic advancement, giving students the opportunity to explore skills in leadership, collaboration, technology, media, and communication.
Open to all skill levels, ACHS Esports provides a safe, inclusive, and competitive environment where students can thrive. Our players learn the value of strategy, discipline, and sportsmanship as they compete in tournaments, scrimmages, and school-wide events.
The 2025–2026 school year marks my 11th year teaching mathematics at Atkinson County High School. As a proud ACHS graduate, I’m especially excited to be part of launching our Esports program and bringing this opportunity to our students.
As head coach, my goal is to help students recognize their potential, build confidence, and develop the skills that can lead to scholarships and even collegiate esports opportunities. I believe esports offers a unique way for students to grow—not just as competitors, but as teammates, leaders, and future professionals.
Fall 2025–2026 marks my seventh year teaching at Atkinson County High School. I currently teach Mathematics and Game Design, and I proudly serve as the advisor for both FBLA and our Esports team. I’m passionate about opening doors for students—giving them access to experiences and opportunities they may not otherwise encounter.
As the assistant coach for Rebel Esports, I’m committed to helping our students grow, compete with confidence, and discover the personal and team rewards that esports offers. From strategy to sportsmanship, I’m here to guide and support our players every step of the way.
