The Syrian Firefly: A safe haven for vulnerable children, offering security, friendship, and engaging learning in a supportive environment
The Urfa Applied Science (Meccano) Competition concluded yesterday, with the participation of 130 students over the course of a week.
The competition consisted of two sections:
Free Section: Students built models of their choice using Meccano tools, applying simplified mechanical engineering principles.
Mandatory Section: The final round, held simultaneously for all finalists, where participants were tasked with constructing a mechanical crane within a set time limit.
The atmosphere was filled with enthusiasm, healthy competition, and positive energy. Our students showcased their outstanding skills and creativity, reflected in their impressive projects.
Congratulations to all the winners, and heartfelt appreciation to all participants. Special thanks to the dedicated teachers whose passion, hard work, and commitment are shaping a brighter future for our children.
