volume 1
This first volume of Salamat PNoy compiles testimonies from all around the world and from people from all walks of life, hailing the accomplishments of PNoy, and how these impacted the lives of the most vulnerable Filipinos.
volume 2
This second volume is about memories of PNoy from his family, his friends, his public, and his staff of idealistic young writers in Malacañang. What emerges is an intimate portrait of a man who bore a burden few people from his generation had to carry—a burden he bore with dignity—although with a tinge of regret, a dollop of humor, and lots of music—over what he had to miss having to take charge of his family and his country.
The book’s publisher is the Alliance of Women for Action Towards Reform (AWARE), founded in 1983 after Senator Ninoy Aquino’s assassination.
Narzalina Lim, one of AWARE’s founding members, shares that they aim to ensure that the legacy of PNoy’s presidency is documented and preserved. “It is a gift to future generations of Filipinos, especially the young generation, who we hope will be inspired by and learn from the good governance practices of the PNoy administration,” Lim said.
