Dr. Lyndon Mark P. Olaguera shared his research on the Numerical simulation of the effects of Davao Oriental Mountain range in Mindanao Island, southern Philippines on the heavy rainfall associated with Typhoon BOPHA (2012) at the Typhoon Science and Technology Research Center, Yokohama National University last February 16, 2024.
Dr. Lyndon Mark P. Olaguera, Mr. Clint Petilla, and Mr. Timothy Kyle Pe attended and presented their research works on tropical cyclones affecting the Philippines in the First International Workshop of the Typhoon Science and Technology Research Center (IWTC), which was held in Yokohama National University, Japan last November 8-9, 2023.
The Regional Climate Systems laboratory students participated in the oral (Mr. Clint Eldrick R. Petilla; Physics Department representative) and poster (Leia Pauline S. Tonga, Enrico Alejandro S. Taña, and Gabriel Castillo) presentations during the SOSE week (May 2-5, 2023). Congratulations to Mr. Clint Eldrick R. Petilla for winning the Outstanding Undergraduate Research Award.
