The workshop will focus on the various efforts and explorations done by teachers on different levels in their attempt to promote student-centered online learning in this past year of the pandemic. Unprepared for the disruption, institutions--and in some cases, educators--were left to their own devices to prepare for the shift to online education. What were the various online teaching modalities and strategies that were used? What educational technologies proved more effective than others? More importantly, what are some of the learning principles that emerged from the collective experience of our teachers last year?
