Work Preparedness Guide

In light of the IATF resolution released 27 May 2020 classifying the National Capital Region (NCR) under General Community Quarantine (GCQ) effective 1 June 2020, the University through its Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) Committee and University Marketing and Communications Office (UMCO) formulated a visual and simplified Work Preparedness Guide to protect the health and welfare of employees who will need to carry out specific functions onsite at certain times starting Monday, 8 June 2020.

As we plan for the gradual return of employees onsite, we enjoin everyone, especially those who will be authorized to work onsite, to take time to read the attached Work Preparedness Guide and to take a proactive approach in observing the  guidelines  at all times for everyone’s safety.

Tips to help boost the immune system

The safety and well-being of all members of the Ateneo community is important. In our flight against the Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19), having a strong immune system is our best defense.

Precautionary Measures for the Community

The Ateneo de Manila University is taking precautionary measures to protect our students, faculty, and non-teaching staff from the Novel Coronavirus (2019-nCOV). As stated in a Department of Health advisory, the virus can be transmitted through “exposure to droplets from the cough and sneeze of the infected person.” Thus, the responsibility of preventing virus transmission falls on the persons who may have been exposed to the virus as a result of their visit to China.
