Areté offers groups of academics, artists, professionals, and students the financial resources and physical space to interact, exchange ideas, and work on projects that marry their interests towards a common goal.
Areté’s Sandbox Residency Grant supports innovative, collaborative initiatives that combine research, artistic processes, and community engagement beyond the academic setting. It provides the resources for experimentation, ideation, and incubation to explore new problem spaces and develop creative solutions to pressing society’s wicked problems. (More)
The Sandbox Student Challenge provides undergraduate students with funding to explore new problem spaces and develop innovative, interdisciplinary solutions. It encourages projects that integrate the arts, humanities, sciences, social sciences, management, and education with broader real-world contexts. (More)
