BANTUGON, Zion Crishan I.
"I learned that it is not easy to grow the seedlings because if I were to mess up a certain amount, like give too much water or forget to water it, even if it is just one day, the plant will grow mold, or start wilting. So it is very important to be exact, especially the independent and controlled variables.
The experiment is a simple and practical application of the concepts of the Methods of Science because we were able to do the different steps of the scientific investigation especially the construction of tables and graphs to present our data.
This experiment is helpful in solving food insecurity in our community by allowing us to plant and grow nutrient-rich edible plants even in a limited space and harvest them in just a short period of time. (Atienza)"

"While doing this, I felt really curious on what will happen on the microgreens and what it will look like. I felt nervous because I might add too much water or too little water. I also felt this because I don’t have any experience on growing a plant or microgreens.
The things i’ve learned from this activity in terms of these examples are planting can help us understand that food security is important to help the community get nutritious food. In addition, I also learned that this is a way to be involved in the community to interact with people who share the same interests we may also attend at community gardens to also provide fresh and delicious vegetables and fruits for the community."

"We were very curious and excited to learn how to grow radish microgreens and the proper way of taking care of them, in order for them to grow into beautiful and healthy sprouts. Likewise, we tried our best to carefully follow all the steps needed for the experiment like the amount of soil and water needed in order to get the correct observations and conclusion."
"We learned in this experiment that growing microgreens is important in solving food insecurity in the community by making sure that we will have enough food supply. Learning how to grow food with high nutrients is beneficial to our health and will help solve problems related to food security. Through this, we will be able to identify the methods of improving soil fertility or where plants will grow better with high nutrients and promote sustainable food production through urban gardening and indoor laboratories. Also, growing microgreens can promote productive family bonding."

"I learned that there is food insecurity in our country and urban planting would be of help in mitigating it. Meanwhile, I also found out that being systematic and thorough is important since measurements must be utterly observed to not damage the specimen. The experiment has further proven to me that the concepts that I have learned about the methods of science are actually important because they make sure that the experiment is systematic and prudent so as to avoid errors. I became knowledgeable that there is food insecurity in our society which means that we have limited access to safe, healthy, and adequate quality food to supply our necessities. Hence, I learned that urban planting or growing crops in the comfort of our homes and respective areas would be of help in closing the deficiencies that we have in terms of our supply."
