Ready for another awesome year, Ateneans? Let’s go!
Students and teachers are able to access relevant online resources via KEMC Google Site. Electronic books, audiobooks, electronic periodicals, electronic videos, and educational websites are made available to the stakeholders/clientele in support of the academic and non-academic programs of the school.
Listings of diverse learning resources are sent via email to the AGS community and are also posted at the KEMC Google Site.
The Media and Information Literacy Program (MILP) aims to teach students to be skillful and discriminating users of print, non-print, and online resources. It is designed to develop the habit of inquiry and stimulate the growth and development of the young mind in independent learning. It also aims to develop appreciation and literacy for the different forms of media.
Students and teachers are encouraged to showcase their collection and works to the community. Click on the 'Activities' page to read the guidelines for the online exhibit.
Library patrons may send email to kemc.gs@ateneo.edu regarding information queries and online reference assistance.
Dewey Decimal Classification (DDC) System is used to organize all learning resources. These are made accessible through the Integrated Library System (ILS) using Follett Destiny Library Manager. Faculty and students may use the Online Public Access Catalog (OPAC) to access these materials.
The librarians continually select and acquire print, non-print, and online resources that suit the needs, interests and special abilities of the students and teachers. Teachers, supervisors, administrators, and students are encouraged to take active part in the selection and evaluation process.
KEMC handles various requests for online learning. These include producing videos, making infographic designs and creating instructional materials.
