Christos is the Information Systems Manager at the Heritage Private School and the main person responsible for the iPad 1-1 programme at the school. He has been in education for more than 15 years and has always been interested in how to best combine education and technology.
He participated in similar courses in almost all aspects: he attended as a student , he was a guest speaker, a trainer and organiser.
He holds a BScH degree in Mathematics and Statistics and an MSc in Computer Science.
Thomas has more than 15 years of experiences in teaching digital competences. He also has several years of extensive experiences in all stages of EU-Projects. As a member of staff in the previous European W2ID project (2010-2012) he was responsible for project evaluation and pedagogical course development. As the main project coordinator of the IncluEdu project (Inclusive Education with Tablets, 2014 – 2017) he was responsible for project coordination and course design.
Together with Karl Bäck he organizes and runs international courses around the field “digital and inclusive education” in Graz and other European cities. Thomas has a master’s degree in social sciences and a qualification as an Internet-Designer.
Karl is an expert in digital literacy education for adults, and people with SEN as well as their teachers and supporters and in assistive technologies. He has more than 10 years of experience in European projects in the field of Web and ICT Learning and the development of easy-to-understand learning material.
Karl has a Masters in educational science from the University of Graz.
Katerina is currently an Assistant Professor of Inclusive Education and Assistive Technology at the European University Cyprus, with an experience of more than 20 years in all levels of education. In the past (1999 – 2010) she worked as a primary education teacher, as a special education support teacher, and as an Assistive Technology Coordinator at the Cyprus Ministry of Education and Culture. Her main interests involve policy and practice of inclusive education and assistive technology, and she is involved in pre-service and in-service teacher education. She is currently involved in a number of EU funded projects and she is also the president elect of the Association for the Advancement of Assistive technology in Europe (AAATE).
Demetris, is a primary school deputy headteacher in Cyprus, with more than 25 years of teaching experience. His main interests focus on the use of tablets in the teaching and learning process. He has a Master's degree in Curriculum and Evaluation and he worked for the Ministry of Education and Culture, for 6 years, as a member of the Curriculum and Digital Educational Content Development Team. For the last 5 years, Demetris, is coordinating various EU-Projects.
