I´m a 63 years old doctor of Education (PhD 2004) and ex-principal from Aurora Elementary School at Espoo. I have worked as a trainer of new classroom teachers since 1982 and trainer of new principals since 1991. I have written several schoolbooks for Finnish elementary school teachers. Just now I´m a lecturer of the curriculum reform (2016) and a facilitator in Finland in a international reform project called New Pedagogics for Deep Learning led by doctor Michael Fullan.
Markus Humaloja, MA (Education), has almost fifteen years of experience as a class teacher in different environments, and has been involved in the development of technology-assisted teaching and learning throughout his career. The teaching method and associated learning culture developed by Markus have recently roused extensive interest both in Finland and abroad. During his career, Markus has been privileged to work in municipalities and schools that have supported and encouraged developments in teaching. Markus views the future as full of potential for learning, and believes that technology will enable limitless learning opportunities for all learners with sufficient skills.
Thomas has more than 15 years of experiences in teaching digital competences. He also has several years of extensive experiences in all stages of EU-Projects. As the main project coordinator of the IncluEdu project (Inclusive Education with Tablets, 2014 – 2017) he was responsible for project coordination and course design. Thomas has a master’s degree in social sciences and a qualification as an Internet-Designer. Together with Karl Bäck he organizes and runs international courses around the field “digital and inclusive education” in Graz and other European cities.
