Students should complete the final exam study guide of the 7 essential questions given out in class today. This will be the only homework assignment entered in to the gradebook this quarter. It will also help them prepare for and be successful on the final exam.
The final exam will be administered Tuesday June 12.
THE FINAL EXAM WILL INCLUDE:

- What challenges did Americans in the New Republic confront?

The "Division Slideshow Project" is due on Friday 5/18/18. This week students will be working on their Pioneer Projects. Some students are working alone while others are working in groups of their choosing. The specifics of their assignments can be found in Google Classroom. They will only have this week to work on these projects in class. If they are not complete by Friday, they will need to finish them on their own time for a final due date of Friday 4/27/18.

Students with a D or an F in this class should have brought home grade notification forms for parents to sign last week. Those need to be returned by this Thursday.
The video project continues to be the focus of the class. The final, edited video is due Jan. 24 - next Wednesday. Students will be given time in class this Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and next Monday to film and edit. The rubric for the video project can be found below. Students should be collaborating with other group members and working together on the script via Google Docs.
Current Event #4 is also due next Wednesday 1/24/18. Students will be given time in class this Wednesday to work on this.
The last day I will accept late work is Jan. 25, 2018. I am available at lunch and after school. I host AMS Homework Club on Thursdays from 3:00-4:00PM, which is a great time to meet with me to work on test revisions and other missing assignments.
