Startups are all about customer discovery and validation. This workshop focuses on developing a scalable and environmentally sustainable Business Model which mitigates the risks associated with Agri-business innovation. This begins with a deep understanding of the customer needs and frustrations. Workshop attendees will spend time in problem-space exploring the pains and frustrations of their target market using Customer Discovery.
Attendees will learn how to apply two user-driven innovation strategies: Design Thinking and Lean Startup Methodologies. Both methodologies create customer-centric venture which are both innovative and environmentally sustainable. This rigorous evidence-based approach to tech entrepreneurship provides a structured, scientific approach to gather evidence to validate the core assumptions included in the Agri-Business Models.
Attendees will be able to create an evidenced-based Agri-Business Model using Design Thinking and Lean Startup methodologies that is both scalable and environmentally sustainable. They will present their model to investors via an investor pitch.
