More Than A Pretty View...
The ASU West Valley garden provides undergraduate research opportunities, offering a readily available space to conduct horticultural and forensic research. Some of the research projects that have been done in the garden include:
-The effects of wildflowers on the productivity of food crops.
-The medicinal properties of holy basil
-The effects of alkaline hydrolysis fertilizer on plant productivity

The Benefits of Undergraduate Research
Doing research in your undergraduate years is a great way to gain early experience in the procedures and methods involved in carrying it out, and sets you apart from the crowd. We strongly encourage you not to let your ideas collect dust. If you need any guidance in the process, the members of the ASU West Valley community garden are happy to help!
