Meet the Club

Hello everyone! My name is Madison Kaminski. I am a junior, and like some other members on our executive board, I concurrently study Geography (Meteorology-Climatology) & Journalism and Mass Communication. I also am pursuing certificates in Atmospheric Sciences and Geographic Information Science. I am originally from Orland Park, Illinois where I was exposed to severe thunderstorms, derechos, tornados and other phenomena like lake-effect snow. Some of my favorite hobbies are cloud spotting, photography, hiking and reading. I am appreciative of the weather club because we all share a passion for the atmosphere.

Hi everyone, My name is Erica Hoyt and I am the Social Media Manager for The ASU Weather and Climate Club.

I am a triple major in Geography (Meteorology-Climatology), Geographic Information Science, and Journalism & Mass Communication. I am also receiving a certificate in Atmospheric Science. 

I am currently a freelance journalist with the Times Media Group writing articles about local news and business profiles.

In my free time I enjoy kayaking, thrifting, spending time with friends and family.
