Writing Contest Winners 2024

Thank you for patiently waiting for the results of our first ever writing contest. We appreciate you giving us the time to really discuss the pieces you all submitted! The Devil's Inkwell would like to thank you for submitting your work and The Piper Center for Creative Writing for sponsoring this contest! All the writing was enjoyed thoroughly and we had a difficult time choosing between them. However, there can only be one grand prize winner for each category in this contest. Without further ado:

Fiction

Regardless of the results, we want to encourage everyone to continue working on their craft and improving their skills as a writer. We are hosting this event in hopes of preparing more undergraduate ASU students for sharing their work with other professional organizations. So, please continue submitting your work to contests, magazines, and other publications in the future!
