About Us

Alex Bird

Alex Bird is currently a junior double-majoring in business entrepreneurship and business sustainability at Arizona State University. He is also pursuing a minor in real estate and is a part of Barrett, the Honors College. Alex has a 4.0 GPA and has been listed on the dean’s list for each semester he has been at ASU. He has gained work experience as an on-campus tutor in economics, accounting, math, and computer courses and currently works as an intern for Hitachi in their Global Social Innovation Business. After graduation, he hopes to work in a division of a large corporation to bring new, innovative products and services to the market. In addition to work experience, Alex has also been involved on campus with the honors college. In January 2020, he went on a study abroad trip with the vice dean of Barrett to learn about conservation efforts and carnival culture in Trinidad and Tobago. In February 2020, Alex was selected as one of two student representatives to attend the All-Arizona Honors Council meeting where he shared his experiences at ASU with students from other collegiate honors programs. Alex’s interests include design, music, wildlife and conservation, infrastructure/real estate development, and tech startups. He is originally from St. Louis, Missouri.
